Good Neighbor Day with Mayor Rawlings-Blake

CHAI?s Good Neighbor Day was a day of community giving to beautify Northwest Baltimore City neighborhoods and help low-income seniors and adults with disabilities prepare their homes for the winter.? The neighborhood projects include Western Run stream cleanup, block beautification, and street/alley cleanups. Seniors projects include doing yard-work, installing non-skid safety strips, weatherizing windows, and checking CO and smoke detectors.?? Neighborhood projects make the community safe, more beautiful, and instill pride.? Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake spoke early Sunday (11/18) morning, excited for the good to program was going to do.

Police identify body found in MD woods

TOWSON, Md. (AP) -- Baltimore County Police say they have identified a body found in a wooded area in Reisterstown near where a human hand was also found.

Police say the body found about 11:30 a.m. Saturday near Hanover Pike and Butler Road is that of 24-year-old Darnell William Butler. Police say the hand found nearby belonged to Butler, who was reported missing in Baltimore on Sept. 17.

Police say the cause of death has not been determined and they are asking anyone who may have information about Butler's death to contact them.
